About the Department
Business administration is the scientific study of the management of organizations for the purpose of creating value, systematic study of the management of organizations for the purpose of creating value and helping organizations achieve their goals effectively and efficiently. It studies the various elements needed for corporate management, and is divided into six parts. These are business strategy, financial management, marketing, production management, human resource management, and management information systems. The Department of Business Administration at our university was established in 1978 to provide students with basic theories and practices of business administration, and it has been faithfully doing so up to now. The Department of Business Administration has developed business education programs based on business ethics, in line with changes in the corporate environment and the latest trends in business research. We have been adapting our programs to prepare for the convergence of technology, society, and management, making use of our university’s strengths, such as the Ethical Leader Development Program, the Convergence Track and Multiple Majors, the Entrepreneurship and Startup Program, and the Overseas Exchange Program. We foster management talents who demonstrate entrepreneurship, ethical leadership, convergent management expertise, and internationalization capabilities.

Principles of Business Administration
The Industrial Revolution that began in the late 18th century has given way to the information revolution of the 21st century, making present-day companies some of the most efficient and fastest-growing organizations in history. So what has made companies grow so fast? It's hard to explain in a single word, but the source of an organization's competitive advantage is likely its management. It is through management that ordinary people can come together to maximize their potential and accomplish things that individuals cannot. It is this excellence in management that makes business organizations different from other groups such as government, the military, and schools. This course introduces students to the core concepts of management as they have developed up to the present.
Marketing
Marketing is one of the most widely recognized fields of business administration. It is becoming increasingly important not only in the management of companies but also in the management of various organizations. To understand marketing, it is necessary to acquire a systematic foundation of marketing perspectives and principles. This course aims to systematically study the fundamentals of marketing.
Strategic Management
This course is designed to introduce students to the theories and tools of management strategy and analyze them by applying them to real-life cases. Students will also develop the ability to derive strategic goals and alternatives necessary for the sustainable survival and high performance of organizations.
Management Information Theory
Information systems are one of the main tools that business managers can use to achieve operational excellence, develop new products or services, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantages. This course is designed for students in the field of business administration who want to explore how today's organizations are using information technology and information systems to achieve their corporate goals.

Academic Activities
FC ART
The only soccer club in the School of Business, consisting of players and managers. We organize weekly soccer matches against other departments and have a variety of regular meetings and gatherings. FC ART is a tight-knit soccer team with excellent soccer skills. FC ART has won and placed as runner-up in the general soccer tournament. FC ART also organizes an OBYB event once a year to interact with seniors. This is an opportunity for the students to get advice on their future career paths and employment information.
Baskets
This basketball team is not only for students who love to play basketball but also students who like to cheer and socialize together. Every Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. We play basketball in the gym every Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., and we get to know other basketball societies and clubs. We are also a great place for alumni to get involved in the club so students can gain a lot of information for employment, etc.
Dawn Ringer
Dawn ringing is the beautiful sound of the dawn. This is a society where you can show off your skills by playing janggu, drums, and the create the beautiful sound of dawn. Dawn Ringing is a 30-year old tradition. It is a society with a strong relationship between seniors and juniors in the circuit. We also have exchanges with the Inha University Ssangnori Society. In the second semester, we also have regular performances! It's an unforgettable time to showcase your skills.
